Build · when you're stuck

Get help

Everyone gets stuck — post-Toccata tooling is young and moving. These are the places where questions actually get answered, roughly in the order to try them.

1 The official repositories

Issues and discussions on the code itself — maintainers read these. For Silverscript questions bring the compiler error verbatim; for Argent, remember it has no release yet.

2 The Kaspa developer community

The development channels of the official Kaspa community are where covenant builders actually hang out — reachable from the official site (invite links rot, so we link the source).

3 Zero-install experimenting

Stuck on setup? SilverScript Studio is a full browser IDE (wizards, one-key compile, hex inspector), kascov.io runs covenant code in the browser, and the starter template compiles on the first try in CI. The Studio also exposes a public compile-check API — POST JSON {source} to /api/compile, CORS-enabled, no key, ~30 req/min — handy for checking that source compiles from your own tools (verified working 2026-09-28; its output uses placeholder constructor values, so never derive an address from it).

4 This site

Found something wrong or stale on KasStacker, or want an example listed? Open an issue — corrections ship fast, and every claim here is supposed to be checkable.

One habit that gets faster answers everywhere: say what you ran, what you expected, and paste the exact error. The glossary helps you name things precisely.
